Field notes / open common questions

Which familiar claims need another look?

Tap a question to open its answer. Each answer also points to a chapter where you can take the question further.

Does the word “peptide” prove a treatment is legitimate?

No. Insulin is one medicine in the peptide family, but the family name only describes its chemical make-up. The name alone proves neither approval nor safety.

Ask for the ingredient, finished product and proposed use.

Has a custom medicine passed the same FDA review?

Medicines prepared to order are called compounded.

Under the rules checked September 26, 2026, these products had no FDA approval. FDA did not check their quality, benefit or safety before sale.

Ask why the preparation is being proposed for your particular need.

Does an online form guarantee a Missouri prescription?

No prescription is promised by a completed form. Missouri's rules checked October 1, 2026 allow a reviewed questionnaire to count as a health assessment if it gives enough information. But a separate rule still requires an existing, ongoing doctor relationship for prescribing based only on an online or phone visit. How these rules fit together remains unclear.

Ask whether your first visit can lead to a prescription and how the service follows both rules.

Is the medicine price the whole bill?

A separate drug charge accompanied recurring fees in selected online weight-care offers at the September 26, 2026 check.

Ask for the complete cost and what repeats.

Where can I raise a concern?

As checked October 1, 2026, Missouri's Healing Arts board accepted complaints about doctors and physician assistants through the state's complaint process.

Nursing complaints had to be written, while the Pharmacy board provided a complaint process for pharmacy matters.

The Pharmacy board could not pursue repayment or resolve a billing dispute, according to its October 2026 information.

Keep the offer, the payment record and the medicine details together when describing the concern.

Keep this with your notes

Keep asking until the answer names the product, the person responsible and the next step. An open question is worth taking into the visit.
